Terms & Conditions
Booking Process:
To secure your spot, we recommend booking well in advance by submitting a nonrefundable deposit of 25% USD, with a minimum deposit of 50% USD per person. Some tours may require a higher deposit of up to 80%, details of which will be provided upon confirmation. The deposit is due within 5 days of confirmation to hold your booking. Please carefully review the terms and conditions before making your reservation.
Price:
The tour price, determined after discussions via email or phone, may be subject to change based on certain factors. Any alterations will be communicated to you during the booking process. The price guarantee does not apply to specific circumstances such as airline-imposed charges or government taxes.
Amendments:
One complimentary change per booking is allowed, with subsequent changes incurring a $50 fee per amendment. Additional cancellation and/or amendment fees may apply, depending on the nature of the change.
Late Bookings:
A $30 fee per booking applies for reservations made within 10 working days of departure from your home country.
Payments:
Only cash payment or bank transfer is accepted; credit cards are not an option for booking.
Cancellations and Refunds:
Cancellation policies vary for expeditions and treks/tours. Refunds are subject to reasonable costs and cancellation fees imposed by other suppliers. No refunds are available for unused services after departure from your home country.
Insurance:
Clients are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance. 5peaks Expedition provides insurance only for staff and local porters.
Variations:
Care has been taken to compile information, but circumstances beyond control may necessitate changes. 5peaks Expedition reserves the right to substitute accommodation and adjust prices based on certain factors. Any variations will be communicated to you.
Responsibility:
5peaks Expedition acts as a coordinator and agent for travel services, assuming no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury. Clients must comply with laws and regulations of countries visited.
Cancellation by 5peaks Expedition:
The company may cancel a tour due to insufficient numbers or circumstances beyond its control. Alternative arrangements will be offered, and refunds provided accordingly.
Your Responsibilities:
Clients must adhere to laws and regulations, comply with the decisions of guides, and follow safety guidelines. Non-compliance may result in expulsion from the trip with no refund.
Medical Conditions and Age Limits:
Clients must disclose pre-existing medical conditions, and failure to do so may result in trip cancellation. Compliance with laws and regulations, as well as company guidelines, is essential for a smooth trip experience.
